Dr. Shawn Seibel:
Dr. Seibel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 1999. He then went on to acquire his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Texas A&M University in 2004.  After completing his DVM degree, he completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship (What is an internship?) at the University of Pennsylvania, Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Teaching Hospital.   After finishing his internship he moved to Parker, CO and started working at the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in July 2005.  He worked there until opening Advanced Pet Care of Parker in July of 2009.

Dr. Seibel decided to open Advanced Pet Care of Parker because he wanted to offer the highest quality of care (similar to that found at specialty or referral hospitals) at a general practice.  He believes all pet owners should be very involved with their pets care, be educated on their medical problems, and be involved in all their choices for treatment.

He enjoys spending time with his son and wife.  They share their house with two spoiled-rotten dogs (Balboa and Isis).  His hobbies include wood working/building, photography, skiing, camping, and home improvements.
